Warranties
Each manufacturer carried by EmotorPro (see Baldor * exclusion below) warranties its own product for at least one (1) year from the date of purchase to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use and service, normally up to 15 horsepower. If you purchased from EmotorPro and your motor is defective within the warranty period, please call us at 800-270-4579 for manufacturer-specific details, and we will assist you in obtaining repair or replacement.
For all manufacturers other than Baldor, Greenheck and Coleman:
The motor or part itself will need to be returned to the warehouse for evaluation. EmotorPro does not pay for return shipping to the warehouse for evaluation. If the product is determined to be defective, we will ship a replacement product (contingent on stock) free of charge, unless no replacement is needed and credit on the defective product is requested instead. If no stock is available on the original, credit on the product will be issued instead.
Should a part other than what was ordered, be shipped and installed, EmotorPro is not responsible for damage incurred to the application if the motor fails as a result, or for warranting the part. Please check your order upon receipt and call immediately, before installation, so that we can ship the right part.
EmotorPro does not warranty the same order more than once. The application should be checked for suitability with the motor if the warranty replacement fails within the original order's warranty period.
We are not responsible for installation, labor or removal costs on any parts; warranty or otherwise.
We ship warranty replacement parts free of charge by ground only, regardless of original shipping method. Expedited shipping can be used at additional cost for replacement orders.
* Baldor motors thought to be defective must be taken to a qualified Baldor service center - a list of Baldor service centers is available here. All other manufacturers follow our warranty process outlined above.
Upon inspection for all manufacturers, the part will either be repaired or replaced, free of charge. Shipping cost on the original order will not be refunded. If a replacement order is made, the price of Ground shipping will be refunded.
